This letter seems to have been written for the managers, but was discarded.
Carlotta is loathsome. Two thousand francs still owed. Daae is safe. New violinist needed. Trapdoor in left needs fixing.
- The Phantom of the Opera
Christine was very much focused on hiding a letter she wrote from me today. She fell asleep while I played, and so I took the liberty to slip the paper from her hand. It read;
'My dearest Raoul; I have been unable to see you these past weeks, and this behaviour will proceed henceforth, lest I act swiftly. Meet me in my dressing room following the Monday production of Faust. Speak none of this meeting, for it may cost you your life.
With love, Christine Daaé. '
Does she believe I intend to murder the boy?

- The Angel of Death
Christine cannot be engaged to two gentlemen at once. Easily remedied.
(this entry is not signed, and is scribbled into the book in red ink, writing so sloppy it looks as though it was by a child)
